Leona Hermsen Passed away on / Décédé(e) le August 23, 2008 We regret to announce the death of Leona Hermsen on August 23rd at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her parents: Peter and Hattie Hermsen; three sisters: Florence Cormier, Agnes Thiffault and Della Heffernan; and by four brothers: George, Ralph, Paul and Leroy Hermsen. She is survived by one sister: Eva Marchand of Port Dover; as well as many nieces and nephews. Leona Hermsen will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25th at 2:30 p. m. at St Patrick's Parish with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated.
