Ruth Nora Jane Harper June 13, 1954 - October 31, 2004 After a lengthy illness, on Sunday, October 31, 2004, Ruth Nora Jane Harper aged 50 years passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Ruth was born on June 13, 1954 spending most of her life in Winnipeg. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her husband John Harper, two daughters; Crystal Hastings and Chantel Harper, one son, Benjamin Harper, two brothers; David Beardy (Brenda) and Johnny Beardy, eight grandchildren, special friend Arthur Flett (Cookies), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Benny and Mary Beardy. Prayers were said on Tuesday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, November 3 and Thursday, November 4 in Wasagamack, Manitoba. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wasagamack Full Gospel Church with Pastor Abel Harper Officiating. Interment to follow at Wasagamack Cemetery.
