CORFIELD, Owen L., Born in Reddich, England August 24, 1915. Peacefully after a short illness at the Hotel Dieu Hospital on September 25, 2004. Predeceased by his wife Alice J. (Jelley). Brother of William (Margaret) Corfield of London, Ontario. Dea rly beloved father of Wayne Corfield, Lyn Davie, Glen Corfield and Holly (Michael) Cavanagh. Grandfather of Crystal Sinclair, Daniel Cavanagh, Trudy (Dan) Loslo, Christopher Corfield, Kenn, Stephanie, and Gregory Corfield. Great-grandfather of Sam an d Max Loslo. Owen Corfield will be greatly missed as he was a pillar of strength to his entire family, and a dear companion of Helen Gower. Owen built "Contemporary Homes of Distinction" in the Niagara area for 40 years. He was a charter member of Po rt Dalhousie Lions and a lifetime member of Jordan Lions with 55 plus years of service. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, 905-684-6346, on Monday, September 27, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held by the Jordan Lions Club on Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Visiting on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 from 2-3 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. A reception will follow the service at St. George's Anglican Church.
