SOPOTYK, Clare, Peacefully, in the arms of his beloved wife surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, October 1, 2004 at his residence, 56 years of age. Beloved husband of Patricia Westlake. Cherished son of Helen and the late Terry Sopotyk. Lovin g father of Kira Sopotyk, Lisa (John) Christie, Shanon Sopotyk and James Sopotyk, loving step-father of Paul and Sharon Westlake. Dear grandad of Sara, Alex, Hunter and soon to be grandchild of daughter Shanon. Dear brother of Richard and his wife Ba rbara Sopotyk, brother-in-law of Phyllis and the Rev. John Cathcart, and Rev. Brian Dixon and his wife Nancy. Loving Uncle of Erin, Aly and fiance Dr. Reid Turner and Jason. Clare will be lovingly remembered by his family in Ireland, England and Sask atchewan. He will be missed by his faithful pets Susie and Cricket. He was employed as an electrician with TRW for 25 years. Clare is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Service to celebra te Clare's life will be held in St. Thomas Anglican Church, 99 Ontario St. on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Hotel Dieu Hemo Dialysis Department would be appreciated by the family.
