WILEY, Janet Elizabeth (Jessie) RN, Peacefully at the Shaver Hospital on the afternoon of October 2, 2004, in the final days of her 96th year. Jessie was beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Wiley (1959). She will be missed by daughters Janet Wiley, S ally Whyte and her husband Doug; grandchildren Jonathan Whyte, Sarah Whyte, Robin Chiera and her husband Mario; great-grandchildren Michael and Katherine Chiera; and by nieces, nephews, and friends who were dear to her. Jessie is predeceased by broth er Ralph Massie and sisters Irene Patrick and Dorothy Wallace. Jessie lived with an inspiring compassion and strength to the end of her life. She touched and will be remembered by many. The family is grateful to the staff at Shaver Hospital for their care and support. Mrs. Wiley is at the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 33 Duke St. (at James), where the family will receive friends on Monday evening, October 4, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday morning, October 5, from 10-11. Funeral service will follow in the Chap el at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery near the Carillon Bell Tower, which was designed by Thomas. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Shaver Hospital Found ation, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
