CARVER, Anne, Passed peacefully at the Oakwood Park Lodge Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 5, 2004, in her 84th year. Loving mother to Michael and his wife Lori of Port Colborne, Robert and his wife Jackie of Goderich, Joan of Goderich and Sharon an d her husband Jack of Niagara Falls. Anne will be dearly missed by her 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ross Carver (1991), her son Alan Carver (2000), her parents S ydney Sykes and Florence Essex, her brother Roland Sykes, her sisters Alice Pelyer, Edith Herbert, Ralda Spencer, and her granddaughter Shelly Carver. The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2004. The Funeral Service will be held at the Port Colborne Brethren In Christ Church (10641 Hwy. #3 West, Port Colborne), on Friday, October 8, 2004, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ken Gazley officiating. Visitat ion from 12-1 p.m. will be held at the church. Interment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill.
