CESAR, Kathleen (Katie) Urbanic (nee Kitt), October 9, 1911 ~ October 6, 2004. Gracefully, of old age in Shelburne, Ontario, enjoying her final days celebrating life. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Pauline Kitt (Sudbury), husbands John Urban ic and John Cesar, brother John (RCAF), sisters Anne, Mary and Stella, sons Rupert and Victor. Survived by son John E. Urbanic (Ruth), daughter-in-law Jeanette, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew. A superb hostess and a pivo tal part of our family life, she will be remembered by her love of literature, her Sudbury "memories", her tenacity, her family and community involvement. She was an active member of the Louth Women's Institute (forever). Badge of honour was a twenty -fine year pin for serving as an auxiliary volunteer at the St. Catharines Hotel Dieu Hospital. Gracious in life and gracious in death, she will be remembered with love and great respect for family, friends and many acquaintances. Good-bye and God Bl ess, Katie. Friends will be received at the PATRICK DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, (39 Court Street, St. Catharines) on Friday, October 8, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Friday at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel Saturday morning 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will take place in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
