HERDER, Julius, On Saturday, October 9, 2004 after a short illness in St. Catharines in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Julianne Herder (1987). Dear father of Edward and his wife Mary of Brantford, Harry and his wife Dianne of Flesherton. Loving Opa of Patricia and her husband Michael of Oshawa and great-grandfather of Shane of Oshawa. Survived by several nieces and nephews in Canada, United States and Germany. Julius was a past member of First Lutheran Church in Toronto and recently at Grace Lutheran Church in St. Catharines. Mr. Herder is at the NIAGARA STREET CHAPEL of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara Street (south of Scott St.). The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home and Wednesda y from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the Church. Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Road, St. Catharines at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow after the service. A private family interment to take plac e at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Grace Lutheran or First Lutheran Church, Toronto would be appreciated by the family.
