Mrs. Jeanne Doiron July 24, 1929 - October 21, 2008 - Suddenly on October 21, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away. Predeceased by her parents Zacharie Leclair and Emilienne Zastre Leclair, Jeanne was also predeceased by her loving husband Clément Doiron of 50 years and her sister Terry Degryse. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Michelle (Denis) Ferland, her son Paul (Sandra) Doiron, her grandchildren Kerrie (Dave), Damien, Jocelyne (Lux), Matthew, Jacob, Heather (Jason) Unrau, Zakk, Chad and her four great-grandchildren Alexie, Kaeden, Lucious and Sabila. Jeanne is also survived by her sisters Alice Hannah, Dolores Newman (Gordon), her brothers Albert (Melanie) and Léo (Doris). Jeanne had been employed at the Conquist Nursing Home for 25 years until her retirement. She was always the center of attention on the dance floor doing the jitterbug. She always had a great sense of humour and always ready for a good laugh. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday October 27, 2008 in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Interment to follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
