SHEPHERD, Mabel Irene (nee Allen), Born September 18, 1915 and passed away on October 23, 2004, in her 90th year, after a lengthy illness. Mabel is survived by her husband Donald Grey; son Robert Allen and his wife Lisa Margaret (nee Parker), grandd aughter Summer Bria of Jordan Station and sister Dorothy May of L'orignal, Ontario. Mabel came to the St. Catharines area in 1948 where she taught at Glenridge and Parnell schools. She was a longtime member of the St. Catharines Skating Club and was an active member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church where she served on the library and flower committees. Mabel also enjoyed oil painting and gardening. A Memorial Service will be held in her honour at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 205 Linwell Road, St. Catharines, on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Giles Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
