GAUDETTE, David - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Thursday November 6th 2008, at the age of 71 years. David was an Inco miner for 32 years at Garson, Creighton and Stobie Mines. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending his time with his children and grandchildren especially. David enjoyed laughing, sharing a joke and chatting with all who crossed his path. He had a deep appreciation of nature, animals and for all of God's creations. David was generous, kind, giving and humble. He wishes to say these last words to all that knew him: way, I am truly sorry, Please pray for me, for that is all that matters now! Son of the late Arthur and of the late Florida (née Tessier) Gaudette. Beloved husband of Rachelle Gaudette (née Jones) of Hanmer. Loving father of Valerie Evison of Sudbury, Joseph Gaudette (Denise) of Burlington and Nicole Gaudette (Jean-Paul Lavoie) of Val Caron. Dear brother of Evangeline Ladouceur (late Edgar) of Ottawa,Thérèse Boivin (late Frank), Cécile Vermette (late Normand) both of Sudbury, Marcel (Annette),Gilbert (Raymonde) both of Sturgeon Falls, Carmen Pelland (Jean-Guy) of Wahnapitae, Claudette Laframboise (Marcel) of St. Charles) and Béatrice Gaudette of Hagar and Predeceased by his brothers Laurier (Hélène of Warren), Armand (late Colette), René (late Lorraine), Léandre (Thérèse) and by his sisters Aline Gervais (late Adelard), Simone Polesky (late George), Ida Groulx (late Jean) and Desanges Proulx (late Lucien). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Ryan, Steven, Alexander, Alyssa, William and Ryan. At David's request a funeral service for family was held on Sunday, November 9th, 2008. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. Special thanks to the staff from the Vale Inco Hospice for their empathy and kindness, thank you to Dr. Bishwajit Bora for over 10 years of care, Dr. Cano, Madeleine of the Palliative Caregivers and the many nurses and volunteers.
