BESWICK, John Edward. 1943 - 2004 Retired MWO 36 years service - Canadian Armed Forces At home on Sunday, October 31, 2004, John passed away surrounded by his family. He will be terribly missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Shirley (nee James) and his children Brenda (Daniel), Carolyn (Chris) and Paul (Jennifer). He was a proud "Grampa" to Hayden, Austin, Mackenzie, Logan, Regan, Zachary, Karen-Amy and Amanda. John is predeceased by daughter Shelly, brother David and his parents Edward and Hannah. He is lovingly remembered by brothers Peter, Alan, Frank, parents-in-law Joseph and Margaret James, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and his nieces and nephews. John will be dearly missed by his family and friends, his laughter, strength and spirit will live on in our hearts. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Casey McKibbon officiating.
