Donalda M. Tower Donalda M. Tower, 92, of People's Park Tower and formally of Birchmount Dr, Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, November 1, 2004 following a brief illness. Born in Sackville, daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Hutchinson) Briggs. Donalda was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and was retired from the Moncton Hospital. She was a member of St. Philip's Anglican Church, former member of The Ladies Guild within the church and was a member of The Ladies Auxilary of The United Transportation Union. She enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, however, first and foremost, was the love for her family, her four special grandchildren and her great grandson. Donalda will be sadly missed by her daughters, Elizabeth (Liz) MacDonald, Antigonish, NS; Barbara Freeman (Ron), Moncton, Carolyn Tower, Riverview; grandchildren, Lindiwe, Michael, Morag and Matthew; great grandson, Taylor; sisters, Elizabeth Hawkaday (Roy), Helen Morrison (Aubrey), ON, Arlene Munroe, Sussex; brothers, Wilfred Briggs (Brenda), River Glade, Harvey Briggs, Sussex; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Conrad Tower (1991); sisters, Phil, Evelyn and Glendine. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Service at St. George's Anglican Church, Wednesday, November 3, 2004, 1:30 pm, Rev. Chris VanBuskirk officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the service. Interment Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Donalda's memory donations to Friend's of The Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care) or your choice would be appreciated.
