Born February 2, 1939, in Albro Lake, Halifax Co., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Adrian and Ida Mae (DeWolfe) MacDonald. Thelma was a member of Bethel United Baptist Church in Dartmouth for many years. She loved knitting and crocheting. Thelma is survived by her children, Rick (Cathy) Myers, Dartmouth; Gary (Sandra) Myers, Enfield; Jamie Myers, Cape Breton; Darlene Myers, Ottawa; Timmy Myers, Dartmouth; 13 grandchildren; brother, Earl (Marina) MacDonald, Middle Musquodoboit; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Joey and Gordie MacDonald. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Bethel United Baptist Church, 316 Windmill Rd., Dartmouth, Rev. Vance Arbeau officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Thelma's memory to Bethel United Baptist Church, 316 Windmill Rd., Dartmouth, NS B3A 1H4, would be appreciated.
