BISHOP, MARY D. Mary D. Bishop of Woodstock, wife of James S. (Jim) Bishop, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Grafton, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Adelaide (Cronkhite) Mooers. In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by two daughters, Kim Cummings (Dean) of Woodstock, and Diane Bishop (Brian King) of Fredericton; a son, Timothy Bishop (Jill) of Ottawa, ON; two brothers, Gordon Mooers (Lorna) of Newfoundland and Douglas Mooers (Winona) of Ottawa; two sisters, Elaine Scott (Richard) of Burlington, ON and Juanita Smith (Bruce) of Woodstock; five grandchildren, Craig Schriver, Brooke Cummings, Tyler Bishop, Taylor Bishop, and Ady King; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her son, Andrew Bishop; a brother, Jack Mooers, and a sister, Margaret Banks. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm from St. James United Church. Rev. Fred Snyder will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. www.scottfh.com.
