Mr. James "Bud" Norman Holt July 01, 1931 - November 02, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Born in Vancouver, BC on July 1, 1931. Passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2004 at 72 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Katherine Holt. Bud is survived and deeply missed by his beloved wife of 47 years, Bjorg (Bea); his daughter Melody (Richard); and his sister Bonnie Maddocks (Harry) of Vernon, BC and his extended family in Norway. Bud was a foreman at MacMillan Bloedel Ploywood Div. for 33 years and retired in 1987. Bud loved people and had a wonderful sense of humour. His caring, honesty and devotion to his family endeared him to many over the years. Bud especially enjoyed the many vacations he and Bea had taken over the years to Hawaii, Mexico and traveling in their motorhome. Bud always had a love of animals and in particular dogs and is now with his faithful friend of 13 years, Kurt. A Celebration of Bud's Life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, November 13, 2004 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Charthouse Restaurant, #200 - 3866 Bayview Street, Richmond, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations please bemade to the SPCA or the charity of your choice. Cremation
