Eileen Brothers (née Gimson) February 12, 1919 - November 03, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) Brothers, Eileen (nee Gimson) 85 years, passed away suddenly on November 3, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of the late Donald (1951). Loving mother of Donald and wife Rose Marie of Cottam, Barbara-Ann and husband Ed Farough of Ruthven and Richard and wife Karen of Elliot Lake. Dear grandmother to Greg Brothers, Cherie Kavanaugh, Jonathan MacEachern, Amanda Farough, Cory Schaafama, Debra Tapping, Brad Brothers and great-grandmother to 9. Dear sister to Douglas Gimson and wife Fern of Strathroy and predeceased by sister Betty Lubnow. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Eileen retired from Canada Post after 35 years of dedicated service. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness memorial tributes to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
