SMOLKIN, Pearl (nee Wiseman) Peacefully on Wednesday November 3, 2004 in her 90th year. Beloved wife and soulmate of Max Smolkin for 68 years. Loving mother of Rosalie (Robert Kane), Robert (Sheila) and David (Tova). Devoted grandmother of Miranda, Ingrid, Kate, Joel, Steven, Ilana, Shiri, Anna, Elinor and great-grandmother of Devan, Conor, Ilsa Pearl, Lilian Ruth, Kathleen and Mary. Dear sister of the late Judith Ain. Aunt Pearl will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, on Friday November 5, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa. Shiva to be observed at 13 Ivylea Street, Nepean. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation Geriatric Fund (tel: 761-4295) or the charity of your choice.
