CHARLEBOIS, Eugène "Gene" The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Delphis and of the late Alice (née Raymond) Charlebois. Beloved husband of Florence Charlebois (née Brunette) of Garson. Loving father of Dora Hews (David) of Brampton. Dear brother of Alice Bédard of Garson and Arthimise Prieur of North Bay. Predeceased by his brothers Delphis Jr. and Gerard. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandson, Michael. Mr. Charlebois was a retired Inco miner with over 30 years of service. Gene was a skilled carpenter building his own house and cottage. He enjoyed fishing on Nepawassi Lake and the French River. Eugène was formerly involved with the Big Brothers Association. He and his wife opened their home to many children in need of love and care through the Children's Aid Society. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 19, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bishop Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury. Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
