Ruth Marie SHERSON

Ruth MOORE Passed away on December 20, 2008 at South Grey Health Services, Durham, Ontario. Ruth suffered severe strokes two days after her 91st birthday, and spent her remaining days in the hospital in the presence of family and friends. Ruth Marie Sherson was born on December 5, 1917, and was the loving wife of the late Elvin Moore, dear mother of Beth and Arnold Kennedy of Markdale, Marion Moore of Nova Scotia, and Carole and Alex Verdun of London, Ontario. She was much loved by her grandchildren Janien, Paul, Meaghan, Heather, Rebecca and Timothy. She delighted in her great-grandchildren Kirsten, Kennedi, Allison, Olivia, William and Annabella. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephew, cousins, former piano students, choir members and many others whom she touched with her gifts of music and friendship. The family received friends at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home in Durham on Sunday, December 21, and the funeral was held at the Glenelg Centre Baptist Church on Monday, December 22 at 1 pm. Spring internment will be at the Flesherton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Glenelg Centre Baptist Church or Dundalk United Church Organ Fund.
