VALERA DICKERT Valera Dickert, the former Valera Yenssen, beloved wife of the late Vernon Dickert of Normanby Township, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in her 81st year. Dear mother of Jean Douglas (Robert) of Waterloo, Lucy Hokke (John) of Walkerton, Diane Cherry (Richard) of Walkerton, Randy Dickert (Vicki) of Hanover and Kevin Dickert (Karrie Hall) of Carrick Township. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three sisters Hilda Russwurm (Lincoln), Marion Russell (Elmer) and Dolores McCannell (Ian Kirk). Sister-in-law of Ruth Yenssen, Wilton and Theresa Dickert, Norma Karl and Ruth and George Scott. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Lily Yenssen, a sister, Reta Donaldson, and a brother, Carl Yenssen. Friends were received at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Clifford until the morning of Saturday, December 27, 2008 then to St. John's Lutheran Church, Clifford for funeral services at 11 am. Interment St. James' Lutheran Cemetery, Normanby Township. Reverend Paul Zabel officiated. The pallbearers were Tim Douglas, Jason Hokke, Jeff Dickert, Mitch Dickert, Ambrose Garvey and Dennis Voisin. The flower bearers were Bonnie Bell, Sheila Grein, Mike McCannell and Dwayne Dickert.
