DADMUN, (nee Jay) Elizabeth "Betty" Ellen. Peacefully on Saturday November 6, 2004 in her 107th year at the Montreal General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Everett Curtis Dadmun and her brother and sisters Frances Mildred, Edward John, William Alexander (Mildred Briand), George Arthur (Olive Maude McFetrick), John Porter (Dorothy Electra Dow), Minnie Wilhemina, Sara Simpson (Leslie Hopperton), Evelyn Ruth, Haskell Campbell (Irene Margaret Joyce). Survived by loving and admiring nieces and nephews Audrey Shepherd, Beverly Gooding, Anne Jay, Rev. Bill Jay, Bruce Hopperton, Lynne Madgett and their families. Long-time switchboard supervisor at the Royal Victoria Hospital and member of Montreal West United Church. Special thanks to the staff of the Centre d'Acceuil Heritage. Visiting hours are on Tuesday November 9 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (5610 Sherbrooke St. W, Montreal) followed by a celebration of her life in the chapel at 12 p.m. Internment will be at a later date in Saco, Maine. In lieu of floral tributes, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. The Montreal Gazette
