Edward Stuart Funeral arrangements by Regina Funeral Home STUART, Edward – passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2004 at the age of 80. Predeceased by his parents John and Caroline, stepfather Clarence Mark, only brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Muriel. Ed is survived by his wife Muriel (nee Maslanka) of 55 years, sons David “Rick” (Kathleen) of Jordan, Terence (Lynn) of Regina; grandchildren Maitland (Kristen) Blackwell, Rachelle (fiancé Joe Popp) Stuart, Erinn (Thomas) Ward, Sean (Jennifer) Stuart; great grandchildren Gabrielle, Connor, Grace, Sarah and Nathan as well as many relatives and friends. Ed served in the Winnipeg Royal Rifles 1945-45: re-enlisted 1951-1970 with the 1st Batialion Queens Own Rifles. Following his retirement from the military. Ed worked at Electric Motors retiring once more in 1988. After retirement, Ed developed a hobby of playing the penny stocks in the stock market. Special thanks to the staff of 5A Regina General Hospital, Dr Ijaz, Dr Kathare, Regina Home Care Staff, as well as all the friends and family who lent their generous support. Flowers gratefully declined. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral home, Hwy #1 East, on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Mr. Robert Warren officiating.
