John M. BREEN

John M. Breen MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. John M. Breen, 57, of Miramichi, passed away at The Moncton City Hospital on November 7, 2004 after a brief illness. As a young man John served for two years in the Royal Canadian Navy. He later worked in Sudbury, Ontario. In 1972 John moved to Kitimat, BC, where he began a long and rewarding career with ALCAN. He retired in 2002 and returned home to Miramichi. He enjoyed retirement and had many wonderful times with family and friends at his camp on the Bartibogue River. John was predeceased by his father, Frank Breen. He is survived by his mother, Louise Breen (LeBouthillier); sisters, Anne Springer (George), Mary Harris (Ken); brothers, Joe (Pat) and David all of the Miramichi, Peter (Dorothy) of Edmonton and Thomas of Yellowknife; nieces, Patti, Shannon, Karen and Joanne and nephews, Frank and Kenny. John is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins on his mother's side of the family. Visitation for family and friends was held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 11 am from St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, NB. Interment in church cemetery.
