Donald Richard Oswald June 25, 1933 - November 07, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Regina Funeral Home OSWALD, DONALD RICHARD “Ozzy” -- 1933 – 2004 -- It is with much sadness that the family of Don announces his peaceful passing on Sunday November 7, 2004. He left us quickly but will be lovingly remembered forever. Don was a Fire Fighter in Regina from 1959 to 1989. During that time he started up his own business – Cascade Irrigation. After retiring he fulfilled his dream by purchasing some land and began to farm where he also built his dream home. He will always be remembered as a young and vibrant man. Family members left to treasure his memories are his two daughters, Lorna (Matt) Donner and Carla Oswald; three grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nicholas Donner and Jaydah Oswald; his two sisters, Irene Sundby and Shirley Fraser; as well as nieces, nephews, friends and fellow fire fighters. Don will be reunited with his parents, John and Bertha; his brother, Edwin; his brothers-in-law, Alvin Fraser and Edwin Sundby; and dear friends, Bill and Cliff. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit. A CELEBRATION OF “OZZY’S” LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St., Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
