Andrew HUNTER

HUNTER, ANDREW Andrew Hunter passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital - Palliative Care Unit on November 7, 2004 at the age of 52. Born in Worksop, England, he was the son of Edna and the late Rev. Norman Hunter of Calgary. At an early age, Andrew immigrated to Calgary with his family where he lived until 1984. He was a retired letter carrier of over 20 years, in Calgary and then Fredericton. Besides his mother and wife, Judy (McCullough), Andrew is survived by one brother, Graham (Pauline) Hunter of Calgary, three daughters, Shelley (Kevin) Tennant of Calgary, Crystal Hunter of Fredericton and Ashley Hunter at home, and one son, Greg (Michele) Hunter of Chatham, ON., three grandchildren, Cole, Eric and Kaelynne, nieces, nephews, and several cousins in England. Andrew was a son-in-law to Bev and Eldona McCullough and brother-in-law to Janet (Gerry) Sutton, Angela (Darin) Shaw, Roger (Darlene) McCullough and Mark McCullough. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. Following cremation there will be a memorial service at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donation remembrances to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation - Neurology Unit, Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation - NICU, Pediatrics and Palliative Care Units, or Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
