Stella Georgina FOLMER

Stella Georgina Schmidt (nee Folmer), of Chepstow, passed away at South Bruce Grey Centre, Walkerton on Monday, December 29, 2008 in her 94th year. Loving mother of Jerome and Joan of Chepstow, Joseph and Marilyn of Ayr, Daniel and Anne of Brampton, Mary and John Vallee of Chepstow, Janice Weber and Stewart Mitchell of Bracebridge, Gwen and Peter Fritz of Chepstow, Michael and Kate of RR 4 Walkerton and William and Colleen of Walkerton. Cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Kathleen Lang of Mildmay and Doris Folmer of Guelph. Pre-deceased by her husband Joseph, daughter Sharon and her husband James Eckensweiler, grandson Timothy Schmidt in infancy, son-in-law Elroy Weber, brother Joseph Folmer, sisters Loretta in infancy, and Marie Bechberger and parents Joseph and Josephine (Phillippi) Folmer. Visitation at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with CWL Service and parish prayers at 2:30 pm and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 9 pm. Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton, Rev. Tom Moisan officiated. Interment Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Chepstow. Pallbearers were Greg, Paul, Joe and Steven Schmidt, Derick Vallee and Shawn Weber. Flowerbearers were Mary Teresa Schmidt, Val White, Zack Johnson and J.P. Kunkel. Memorial donations to the Mary Immaculate Building Fund were appreciated as expressions of sympathy
