HINCHEY, Herb - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Herb at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital, Napanee, on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Herbert William Hinchey of Tamworth at age 53. Beloved husband of Linda Hinchey (Craig) and dear father of Leanne (Matt Egan). Dear brother of Helen Ritchie of Barrie; Marilyn Kitchin (Pat); and Danny (Joanne) of Tamworth; Diane Adie (Doug) of Newmarket; and the late Jane Wisteard. Dear brother-in-law of the late Dale Craig, and Linda Wales (Al) of Camden East. Much loved uncle of Tammy and Peter Wisteard; Lauren Craig; Jessica and Tyler Hinchey and Nick; Brooke and Cole Nowselsky. Beloved son of the late Gladys and Bert Hinchey and son-in-law of Robert and Helen Craig of Tamworth. Herb will be sadly missed by his family, his many friends, the many young players he coached and the community of Tamworth. The family received friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME, Tamworth on Friday from 1- 4 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9-11 a.m. A Celebration of his Life was held at the Stone Mills Recreation Centre (Tamworth Arena) on Saturday, December 6 at 12 noon. Cremation with private family interment at Christ Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Memorial Care Foundation of Tamworth or a local charity of your choice would be appreciated.
