RICHARD IRVIN Richard Irvin, beloved husband of Leona Irvin of Ayton, passed away at the Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre in Mount Forest on Saturday, January 10, 2009, aged 86 years. Father and step-father of Elva Neumeister of Kitchener, Betty Anne Hunt of Chesley, Doreen Forgett and Jim, Donald Irvin and Sharon, Deanna Wheeler, all of Route 3 Ayton, Ron White and Carol, Robert White and Debbie, Stephen White and Charlene White. Also survived by many grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Charles and John Irvin, and three sisters, Anne McDougall, Ethel McQueen and Audrey Dowling. Friends were received at Garrett Funeral Chapel in Neustadt until the morning of Wednesday, January 14, 2009 then to Trinity Lutheran Church, Ayton for funeral services at 11 am. Cremation with spring interment, Holstein Cemetery. Reverend David Wunderlich officiated. The pallbearers were Cory Neumeister, Shawn Irvin, Heather Himburg, Leigh Wheeler, Wayne Hunt and Julie Adams. The flower bearers were Carrie Adamson, Sandra Hunt, Melanie McLean, Dana Wheeler and Shelley Wagner.
