McMORRAN, Douglas - May 9, 1936 - January 2, 2009. Douglas was born in Toronto, and died peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Barbara and father of Craig (Linda), Brad (Kathy), Gail (Don Hamilton), all of Calgary. Loving step-father of Richard Higgins (Kim), Robert Higgins (Michelle), all of Hamilton. Loving grandfather of Stephen, Mathew, Thomas, Robert, Connor, Jessica, Daly and Laura (all of Calgary) and Lee, Kyle and Katie (all of Hamilton), son-in-law of Mack and Anita Hazelton. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Fulton McMorran and Rita (nee Cameron). Visitation will be held at L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905-544-1147) on Monday, January 5, 2009 from 2-4 with a service to follow in the chapel at 4 p.m Cremation to follow.
