John Gerald Harps (Former employee of C.I.L.) at the Janet MacDonell Pavilion in Cornwall on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. Age 73 years. Formerly of 405 Easton Avenue, Cornwall. Beloved husband of Cecile Lafleche. Dear father of Richard Harps (Marlene Brisson) of Summerstown, Michel Harps (Joanne McMillan) of Cornwall and Denis Harps (Renée Gosselin) of St. Lazare, Quebec. Dear brother of Samuel Harps (Margaret), Laurie (Mrs. Wilfrid Brisson) and Joyce (Mrs. Victor Ouellette) all of Cornwall. Dear grandfather of Mark, Lynn, Amy, Sheena, Ashley, Philippe and Cedric and great grandfather of Hayden and Nicholas. Dear son of the late Robert Harps and the late Margarite Tyo. Predeceased by three brothers, Adolphus, Leo and Francis Harps and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Montroy, Mrs. Sarah Lapier and Mrs. Beverly Bray. Resting at the Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd., 218 Montreal Road (932-5455) on Thursday, November 11 from 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 for mass of Christian burial in St. Félix de Valois church, Cornwall at 11 a.m. Followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance on Thursday, November 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, November 12 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. - 11/12/2004 - ID5184239
