MADORE, EDGAR - At Hotel-Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, November 9, 2004, Edgar Madore of Anderson Road passed away at the age of 81 years. He married the former Teresa Christensen November 27, 1944. Born at Drummond in 1923, he was a son of the late Frank and Mina (Morin) Madore. Mr. Madore was a 3rd degree member of the Anderson Road Knights of Columbus. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, John Madore (Jackie) of Tilley, Leonard Madore (Bonnie) of Prince George, B.C., Paul Madore (Pauline) of Grand Falls and Louis Woods (Carol) of Hamilton, Ontario, three daughters, Dora Francis (Leo) of Maliseet First Nation at Tobique, Charlotte Woods (Richard) of Maugerville and Marie Christensen (Jim) of Upper Gagetown, 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, brothers, Valet (Angela) Madore of Anderson Road and Joe (Lenora) Madore of Plaster Rock, sister, Irene Carvel of McLaughlin Road, sister-in-slaw, Jane Madore of Anderson Road, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by grandson, Tyler Francis, sisters, Margaret Hansen, Tressie Canam and Ginette Bois and brothers, Wilmot and Yvon Madore. Resting at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Anderson Road with visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. His funeral will be held from St. Theresa's Church, Friday, November 12th at 10 a.m. Funeral vigil and sharing of stories of Edgar Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. at the church.
