BATES, Jessie Catherine - After an extended struggle with Alzheimers disease, Jessie passed away peacefully at age 79, on Monday December 29th, 2008. She is survived by her brother George Bates of Dryden, Ontario, her sister Laura Hook of Thunder Bay, Ontario, her dear friends Doreen Hume, Bruce and Gloria Sapsford of Elliot Lake, and Jeanne Basteris of Oaxtepec, Mexico. A special recognition to the staff at Huron Lodge for their caring attention to Jessie during her time with them as a resident patient. Their gentle kindness to her was responsible for making her passing peaceful. Thank you so very much. Contributions to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated, The research is so important. 0
