GLASGOW, William David. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at the Lakeshore General Hospital at the age of eighty-four years. Beloved husband of Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Glasgow. Beloved father to Robert and Valerie (Chuck), grandfather to Nathalie, Scott, Kimberly, Eric and Amanda, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Canada and in England. A veteran of World War II, he served from 1940-1945 with the Royal Canadian Army, 17th Duke of York of which he is still a member. William was honoured by the Government of Holland, for his military service and was a past member of the RCAF Wing #306. He is currently a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, General Vanier Branch #234 - Roxboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Visitation will take place from Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O., Qc (514) 685-3344 on Thursday, November 11, 2004 and Friday, November 12, 2004 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will also be held from Rideau on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow in the Field of Honor, Pointe Claire.
