LUTKA, Mary, Passed peacefully away at her home on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Steve Lutka (1991). Loving mother of Margaret Young of Welland, Laura Sommerville (Douglas) of Whitby, William Lutka of Welland, Julia Weiler (Douglas) of St. Catharines and Sophie Anderson (John) of St. Catharines. Mrs. Lutka will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kathy Slater, David Kentle, Blair Sommerville, Janet Sommerville, Erik Anderson and Ian Anderson, grea t-grandchildren Jennifer, Jamie, Jacquline, Christine, Kennedy and Odin, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Sophia Gegluk, son John Lutka, son-in-law Clifford Young, sister Dora Halifax and brother John Gegluk. The family will receive their friends at J.J. PATTERSON & SONS FUNERAL RESIDENCE, 19 Young Street, Welland on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Pastor Donna Totten of All Peoples United Church will conduct the funeral service on Thursday afterno on at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Welland Hospital Foundation.
