Rita Tingley (née Poirier) Funeral arrangements by Fair Haven Funeral Home Rita Tingley, passed away on Wednesday, November 10th, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Prosper and Marguerite (Savoie) Poirier. Rita was employed for many years at Reid's News Stand, Main Street, she was a loyal Boston Bruins fan , and loved Harness Racing. She is survived by her husband Lou Tingley of Moncton, sons; Peter (Joanne) of Moncton, Don (Michelle) of Vientiane, Lao, a brother, Gerard Poirier (Rita) of Irishtown, and grand children; Lucas, Keeghan, Dean, Kiana, Lauren, In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Georgina. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, November 12 from 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 12:00 until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception for Rita’s family and friends will follow in the Garden View Reception Room. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
