DESJARDINS, Marcel Maurice September 2, 1926 - January 11, 2009 It is with great sadness that Jill, Carlo, Christa and Yvonne Brandelli announce his passing. Dad was born on September 2, 1926 in Consul, Saskatchewan. He passed away in the Foothills Hospital January 11, 2009 surrounded by his loved ones. He was predeceased by my Mom (Dorothy), August 1988 and his much loved dog Buffy. Dad is survived by his sister Therese, brothers Edmond (Barbara), Armand (Norma), Paul, Rene, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Dad lived in Calgary since the early 1950's but Saskatchewan was his home and love. He was a proud, hardworking, determined man who was always there to help his friends and neighbors. He loved camping, curling, playing cards and being with friends and family. Most of all he loved and treasured his two granddaughters Christa and Yvonne. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Inno C. Cambaling, Presider.
