SIMPSON, Alison (nee Gibb). Peacefully on Remembrance Day, November 11, 2004. Predeceased by her beloved husband Harold. Survived by her children and their respective spouses, Clara and Amos and Joseph and Christine. Fondly remembered by her six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and dear friends from across North America. Born June 12, 1917 in Berlin, New Hampshire, she moved to Gatineau with her family in 1929 and later lived in Brockville and Montreal. Dedicated member of the United Church of Canada and the Lorraine Chapter of the Eastern Star. We will always treasure her sense of humour, her story telling and genuine kindness to all. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Sunday, November 14, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we kindly suggest a donation to the Lakeshore General Hospital to help them with the enormous needs of the sick and the elderly. We are forever grateful for the loving care she received at the Lakeshore General Hospital, the Richardson Hospital and Legault Residence. Condolences/ Donations/ Trib. mcgarryfamily.ca 233-1143.
