ELSIE ALBERTA BURKHOLDER (BANNERMAN) Elsie Alberta Burkholder (Bannerman) passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 26, 2009, in her 92nd year, with her daughters and her special Hanover Care Centre “family” by her side. Predeceased by her husband Norman (2002). Dear mother of Sandra Sawyer and her husband Glenn of Southampton, Sharon Eurig and her husband Verne of Mount Forest, Louise Sawyer and her husband Tom Komoka and Linda Neil of Aylmer. Lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Elsie is predeceased by her two sisters and two brothers. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Thursday from 7–9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 30 at 1 pm. Spring interment at Stayner Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity on one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
