Gabriella Giuseppina Roddi (née Liberatore) January 27, 1954 - November 13, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) RODDI, Gabriella Giuseppina - 50, Halifax, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 13, 2004, in the VG Site, QEII. Gabriella was predeceased by her father, Attilio Liberatore and her beloved husband, Luciano Roddi. A loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Gabriella was a true and faithful supporter of her family. Gabriella is survived by her mother, Iolanda and her beautiful daughters, Jessica and Julia. She is also survived by her brothers, Franco (Angela), Halifax; and Enio (Nancy), Dartmouth; sister-in-law, Teresa (Dino), Halifax; and brothers-in-law, Giacinto (Rosaria), Italy; Carlo (Ria), Germany; many nephews and nieces. Gabriella immigrated from Italy in 1962 with her family. She was a member of St. Pius X Parish, Fairview. She was employed by Aramark and previously worked at Dunn and Brad Street for many years, and at the VG Hospital (finances). Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 16, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 17, at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations may be made to a charity of choice or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
