Mr. Thomas Bannister December 21, 1917 - November 13, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) Tom was born December 21, 1917 at Enderby, British Columbia, passed away peacefully November 13, 2004 at Duncan, British Columbia. Tom is predeceased by his brother, (Arthur) Herb Bannister. Tom is survived and lovingly remembered by his brothers and their wives, Charles and Elsie Bannister, James and Hilda Bannister and John and Jeannine Bannister, nieces and nephews, Mary-lou, Jamie, Chuck, Donna, Barb, Tom, Tim, David, Arlene, Eleanor and Karen. He had many friends in the Duncan area, within the Cowichan Lodge and the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Tom served in the Canadian Army and was an active member in the Boy Scouts. Tom spent many years supervising various operations of the Lambourn Estates Mobile Home Park before retiring. Tom is remembered by his family and friends as a caring, warmhearted and generous person. His faith was in the coming Redeemer. A Funeral Service will be held in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3441 Gibbins Road, Duncan, British Columbia on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 11:00 pm.
