MILNE, Alice (nee Carter) - Entered into rest at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on February 3, 2009 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Berkley Milne. Loving mother of Anne Gibson (Stanley Feldman) and Katherine Pike (David). Cherished grandmother of Jason Gibson, Cameron Gibson, Sarah Pike and Brittney Pike. Dear great-grandmother of Owen Pike-Boyd. Fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Predeceased by her brothers Alfred Carter and Harry Carter and sister Annie Sheppard. Alice spent many years as a devoted registered nurse and a volunteer for the Cobourg Hospital Auxiliary. Friends will be received at the MACCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 30 King St., E., Cobourg, on Friday, February 6th from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
