Ruth Lillian BAGG

MCINTOSH, Ruth Lillian (nee Bagg) - Passed away on Monday February 2nd, 2009 following a stroke at the age of 88 years at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia. Beloved wife of the late Bruce McIntosh, (Aug. 2008). Dear mother of Rick and Ruth Foss, Cambridge, and Nancy Foss, Boulder, Colorado. Loving Grandmother of Jenni and Richard Guy, Cambridge, Tyler and Brenda Foss, Lima Peru and Christal Einsphar, Boulder Colorado. Special “Great Granmma Mac“ to Hannah, Sarah, and Myah Foss and Eva and Astrid Guy. Ruth is survived by one brother Arthur Bagg of Ennismore, Ont. and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Alfred Bagg and Allie Sault, three sisters Jean Kroeger, Marian Brown and Grace Frank and her husbands John Foss (1984) and Jim Brown (1980). Ruth was raised on a farm just north of Hespeler and attended Kossuth Public School. She was employed for many years at Artex Woollens. Ruth lived for the last 35 years in Orillia. She was a member of the Legion Auxillary and the Tie Club. She will be missed by her neighbours and the many friends with whom she played euchre and cribbage. Ruth's family would like to thank those who helped her over the last few months and to Dr. Harmathy and the staff on Soldiers 2 who cared for her. The family will receive friends at the LOUNSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Friday February 6th, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 12-1 o'clock with funeral service following at the funeral home a 1 o'clock.
