GOODINGS, Walter Ernest - (columnist Lanark Era, retired engineering technician) Age 96 at Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth, January 27. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy Corrine Deachman. A resident of Lanark, ON, he was born January 6, 1913, in Toronto, the son of the late Walter Goodings and Ann Forrester. Survived by daughters Ann Marie Alexander (Chuck) of Orillia; and Margaret Allooloo of Iqaluit, NU; son David Goodings (Margo) of Almonte, ON; brother Lloyd Goodings (June) of Vancouver, BC and sister, Gertrude Moses of Markham, ON. Sadly missed by long time companion Cathy Vallillee, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his great grandson Graham Ronald Alexander, son Walter David Goodings, brother Robert Goodings, and sister Irene Porter. At his request there is to be no funeral. A celebration of his life is planned for a future date. 11397138
