Myrna A. MacBain Myrna A. MacBain, 67, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, November 15, 2004 after many years of poor health. Born in Moncton, she was the eldest daughter of the late Lester (Peanut) and Mary (Powell) Power. Myrna was a member of The Moncton Wesleyan Church and a former employee of CN Rail and Marine Atlantic. She was a member of The Moncton Horticultural Society,The Southeast NB Geneological Society, The Southeast Irish Cultural Association and The Moncton Museum. She was a former member of The Christian Women's Club and Bonar Law Chapter IODE. For more than 20 years, Myrna played the piano for the Salvation Army Songsters and taught Sunday School. Myrna was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by her husband, Ian of over 44 years; daughters, Heather Everett (Keith), Woodstock, Nancy MacBain and Julie McSorley (Todd), Moncton; son, Robert (Lisa), Charlottetown; grandchildren, Sandra, Craig, Alexander, Ashley and Amanda; sisters, Sandra Bunnage (late Randy), Red Deer, AB, Betty Lynn (Alisdair), Hamilton, ON, Carol Power, Moncton; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Gail Strong, North Reading, Mass, USA and several other cousins. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Friday, November 19, 2004, 11am. Dr. Laurel Buckingham officiating. Reception following the service. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
