Merrily S. AKRIDGE

Merrily S. (Akridge) Michaud, age 62, of Ogdensburg, N.Y, formerly of Danbury and New Milford, died on March 23, 2005 in Ogdensburg, N.Y. She was the wife of Maurice Michaud.Merrily was born in Danbury, February 24, 1943 the daughter of the late Willard and Josephine (Burnette) Akridge. A lifelong area resident, she was most recently employed with Walgreen's Pharmacy in Brookfield for 17 years, and had also been employed with local nursing facilities and hotels in the greater Danbury area.In addition to her husband, Merrily is survived by her son: Ronald Frank of Stafford, Va.; two daughters: Nancy Mazzarella of Ogdenburg, N.Y., and Cherie McLaughlin of Jacksonville, Ohio; and four grandchildren.There are no calling hours.A memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 18th at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Route 53, Bethel at 6:30 p.m. Burial in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel will be private.The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel is in charge of arrangements.
