SANFORD - Diana A. Bourque, 79, of Sanford, died Friday afternoon at St. Andre Health Care Facility in Biddeford. Mrs. Bourque was born in Sanford on April 19, 1926. She was the daughter of Amedee and Anne Buchanan Allaire. She attended Holy Family School, and was a 1944 graduate of Sanford High School. She worked in the local shoe shops, Pioneer Plastics, and would later retire from Tenneford Weaving.Mrs. Bourque was a lifelong resident of Sanford, and a faithful communicant of Holy Family Church of Sanford. She had a passion for playing beano; Anytime, anywhere, was her motto. Predeceasing her was her husband, Oscar; three brothers; and two sisters. Surviving is a daughter, Sharon Brackett and her husband Wade of Sanford; a grandson, Michael Brackett and his wife Qing of Augusta; a granddaughter, Deborah Sousa and her husband Daniel of Barrington, N.H.; and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Luke Sousa. Also surviving are her sisters, Lillian Perron of Farmington, N.H., Helen Vigue and her husband Bill of Sanford, and Stella Dion of Sanford; three brothers, Robert Allaire and his wife Lucille of Sanford, Andrew Allaire and his wife Rita of Somersworth, N.H., and Larry Allaire of Montgomery, Ala. A 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Bourque will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Holy Family Church, 66 North Ave., Sanford. A graveside committal service will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery in the spring of 2006.
