NATALINE MARY BROUSSARD My loving and devoted wife, our son and daughter's loving mother, and the daughter of the late Antoine Arceneaux and the late Lorena Arceneaux. Nataline's Beginning September 19, 1938 Nataline departed this life battling Carcinoid cancer on December 22, 2005. She was a graduate of Texas Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She dedicated 32 years of service to the Houston Independent School District and retired in 1995. She was a parishioner of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Nataline is a long time member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court and Council # 72 and the Delta Chi Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority, Inc. Nataline fought a good fight and she kept the faith. In God's care, Nataline leaves to cherish beautiful memories, her husband of 33 years, Jesse J. Broussard; our son and daughter, Michael Anthony Broussard and Retina Lynn Broussard Simien, her sister, Elizabeth Gordon, and her surrogate mother and sister, Theresa Rollins and surrogate father and brother-in-law, Jimmie Rollins; a surrogate brother, Ricky Rollins; grandson and granddaughter, Peter Simien III and Jessica Simien, a surrogate granddaughter, Skylon Pappillion; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM the 31st Day of December 2005, Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 4000 Sumpter. The wake will be Friday, December 30th, from 6 until 9 PM at the church. The recital of the rosary will be at 7:45 PM. Published in the Houston Chronicle on 12/29/2005.
