Catherine ARCHAMBAULT

Mrs. Catherine (Archambault) Mullaney, 94, died Sunday December 11, 2005, at Waterbury Extended Care in Watertown. She was the widow of Francis J. Mullaney.Mrs. Mullaney was born February 12, 1911, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Louis and Sarah (Murray) Archambault. A lifelong resident of Waterbury, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Wilby High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing. An avid reader and writer she loved all manner of literature, loved animals, Notre Dame football and the New York Yankees. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.She is survived by one son, Terence V. Mullaney, of Columbia, S.C.; one daughter, Clare H. Barnett, of Middlebury; four grandchildren, Mary Beth Mullaney, Stephen Mullaney, Cathleen Mullaney and Brendan Mullaney; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen M. Mullaney.Arrangements: Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St. to the Immaculate Conception Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial is in Old St. Joseph Cemetery.
