Edward E. Aubuchon, 78, of Cape Coral died Wednesday September 7, 2005 at Hope Hospice after a courageous battle with Colon and Liver cancer. Born February 1, 1927 in Detroit he was the son of the late Max and Bernadette Aubuchon. Ed served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during WW II. He moved to Cape Coral in 1981 from Lake Orion, MI following his retirement from Chatham Supermarkets.Survivors include his wife Martha "Marti" Aubuchon, Cape Coral, children: Helen Johns, Novi, MI, Fred (Pat), Cape Coral, Sue (Bob) Lewis, Sharonville, OH, Karen Hall, Novi, MI, Gary (Andrea) Aubuchon and Darryl (Pamela) Aubuchon, Cape Coral; stepchildren Debbie (Ron) Baker, Punta Gorda, Fl. and James (Kathy) Anderson, Saline, MI, one brother Jerry (Janie) Aubuchon, Rochester, MI, two sisters Betty (Dwight ) Allen, Royal Oak, MI, and Maxine (Lloyd) Shelly, Windsor, Ontario CA; seventeen grandchildren and four great -grandchildren.A Memorial service will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. Friday September 9, 2005 at the Metz Funeral Chapel with Rev. Daniel Antel officiating. In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hope Hospice.
